Request
After reviewing your website and other publicly available information, I have not been able to identify the appropriate contact details for third parties (such as suppliers or service providers) to send formal legal correspondence to your organisation.
Please could you confirm the following:
- Whether your organisation has one or more specific teams, departments, or named individuals responsible for receiving formal legal correspondence from third parties.
- The relevant postal address(es), email address(es), and telephone number(s) that such correspondence should be directed to. If responsibility differs by type of issue (e.g. contractual, procurement-related, legal) or by region, please provide the details for each as applicable.
- If this information is already published, please confirm where it can be found.
Response
I confirm that we hold some of the information you have requested. We do not provide, for example on our website, a list of all the possible teams and departments which might expect to receive legal correspondence. So without knowing exactly which third party is concerned, it is not possible to be more specific. I have provided answers to your numbered questions below.
Broadly speaking there are two points of contact for receiving documentation:
- Our Customer Support team: customersupport@tpr.gov.uk
- Our Procurement team:aprocurement@tpr.gov.uk
Otherwise, all of our third party service providers and suppliers have contracts with us. Those contracts will contain the relevant postal address, email address and name
for correspondence to be addressed to. The contract will not include the telephone number. Here is a link to an example of our contract terms and conditions: https://www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk/en/about-us/doing-business-with-us/terms-and-conditions-for-services
Note that:
- “Schedule 4 – Terms and conditions”, clause “53. Notices”, point 5 states the email address of each party shall be aprocurement@tpr.gov.uk, and the postal address as stated below in my response to your second question.
- “Either party may change its address for service by serving a notice in accordance with this Clause 53 (Notices).”
The postal address of our office is:
The Pensions Regulator
Telecom House
125-135 Preston Road
Brighton
BN1 6AF
Our website has general contact information addressing the most common reasons for contact which includes our postal address, telephone numbers and email addresses. I have provided a link for convenience: https://www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk/en/contact-us
